at 7pm on Wednesday the 15th February.

North Tyneside in Bloom Competition
Congratulations to Red House Farm Allotments.
In a close run competition RHFAS came second in this years North Tyneside in Bloom Competition...
I am reliably informed that it was a close run thing...
...we came second only to our neighbours at
Hillheads Allotments.

Raised Beds now completed on Plot 83
 Thanks to all those members who worked so hard to complete the society raised beds on plot 83...with especial thanks to John Billings for all his hard work and design skills.
As you can see from the pictures , most of the raised beds are now in use.
Primarily for use by aged and disabled gardeners, the beds are also available to other groups when available.





...AND...
we have a new Composting Toilet available to members and guests...
...check at the shop for instructions...!!!

held at the Parks Sports Centre North Shields.
 


  

Well - How about this for Sunday Lunch !!!   

The hideous vegetable was unearthed by pensioner Brian Davy
 at his allotment in Wellington, Shropshire.

   Mr Davy, 71. Said “ "It’s like some sort of gargoyle -
- but its still going on our plates for Sunday Lunch !!! ”
